Outdoor LCD digital signage is easy to be affected by temperature, humidity, dust, harmful gas and other objects due to complex environmental factors. Therefore, it is necessary to protect it. It can be said that the protection of heat dissipation system is the fundamental guarantee to ensure the operation of LCD digital signage. Therefore, it is very necessary to choose an appropriate heat dissipation method for outdoor digital signage. At present, the outdoor LCD digital signages produced by digital signage manufacturers have air-cooled heat dissipation and air-conditioning heat dissipation respectively. How to choose the heat dissipation system of outdoor digital signage instead of outdoor LCD digital signage? 1、 Air cooling and heat dissipation

The intelligent air-cooled circulating heat dissipation system of outdoor LCD digital signage, that is, air-cooled system, has the advantages of low heat dissipation power consumption, low manufacturing cost and good heat dissipation performance, which can be used in most parts of China;

Disadvantages: air cooling and heat dissipation are greatly affected by the environment. The equipment temperature can only be controlled at 5 ℃ higher than the environment. The internal temperature of the equipment is relatively high in summer. Regular maintenance is required, so the later investment cost is relatively high. Specifically, there are the following three points:

1. When the temperature is low, if there is no heating system in the box, the LCD screen is easy to atomize due to the internal and external temperature difference, so the screen is blurred;

2. When the fan is working, it will inevitably bring a lot of dust. Therefore, for later maintenance, it is more troublesome to often replace the dust screen;

3. The air cooling system is adopted, and the protection grade of the whole machine is only IP55.

2、 Air conditioning heat dissipation

The intelligent air conditioning cooling system of outdoor digital signage is a heat dissipation method used more in outdoor LCD digital signage. Its advantage is that the overall heat dissipation effect is good, the protection grade of the whole machine is up to IP65, and there is no need for too much maintenance in the later stage, and the limitations of the use environment are small. The disadvantage is that the power consumption of the whole machine is large, and the cost is relatively high compared with the air cooling system.

1. The working temperature can be between – 40 ℃ – 55 ℃, which can span a large range;

2. Intelligent temperature control, the LCD screen will not appear black even under direct sunlight. The service life of electronic components inside the box is greatly increased.

To sum up, the selection of heat dissipation system for outdoor LCD digital signage needs to be determined according to the use environment, but the air conditioning heat dissipation system can be optimized when the budget is sufficient. Air conditioning heat dissipation can only be used in areas with high salinity, such as the seaside. High salinity will corrode the shell and internal accessories of digital signage and cause equipment damage. In addition, in areas with high harmful gas, high humidity and serious dust weather, air conditioning can only be used for heat dissipation, and air cooling can be used for heat dissipation in other areas.
